Lovely camellia pattern Japanese vintage kimono silk is made into a A-line gather skirt. Thanks to the structured fabric, it creates a beautiful silhouette
The fabric used for this top is called Tsumugi silk, which is very lightweight and durable. This tsumugi has beautiful luster which only highest quality tsumugi has.

It has pockets which make the skirt even unique.

Hena Hena's creations are upcycled with vintage silk kimonos which are imported from Japan and they are carefully unpicked by myself. I mainly use kimonos from 1980s and before. Because of their age of fabrics there could be some flaws like small marks, pinholes and colour fade etc. but they have incredibly graceful taste that only vintage kimonos have. I hope you enjoy and love the beauty of vintage kimono silks including their histories to be embraced.
