This dress is made from a traditional blue and white Yukata, summer cotton kimono.
Top quality cotton.
About 20cm slits on both side.
Two pockets in front.
One of a kind.

size : free (NZ size 8 to 14)
from armpit to armpit 52cm
length 100cm
material : 100% cotton
lining : no lining
vintage condition : very good (some pin holes from an original kimono are visible )
care : gentle hand wash, separate wash, color runs for the first couple of washes

Hena Hena's creations are upcycled with vintage silk kimonos which are imported from Japan and they are carefully unpicked by myself. I mainly use kimonos from 1950s and before. Because of their age of fabrics there could be some flaws like small marks, pinholes, smells, colour fade etc. but they have incredibly graceful taste that only vintage kimonos have. I hope you enjoy and love the beauty of vintage kimono silks including their histories to be embraced.
