Upcycled Denim jacket with vintage kimono fabrics
This gorgeous and unique denim jacket is upcycled with using exquisite materials taken from vintage Japanese kimono.
The fabric upcycled for this jacket was used to be a lining of men's haori(jacket worn over kimono) and the hand painted hawk is very cool and an art itself.
Hawks are said to have the power to see into the distance and the power to see into the essence of things. Their sharp claws that capture their prey also symbolize grasping luck and happiness.

size : women's 10 but oversized jacket. Could be size14 plus or men's S size.

Hena Hena's creations are upcycled with vintage silk kimonos which are imported from Japan and they are carefully unpicked by myself. I mainly use kimonos from 1950s and before. Because of their age of fabrics there could be some flaws like small marks, pinholes, old smells and colour fade which are not mentioned in a description, however they have incredibly graceful taste that only vintage kimonos have.
