Vintage kimono silk top

Soft and drapey Ro silk kimono was made into a lovely top. Ro is semi-see through summer kimono and it has very delicate and unique beauty.

The bottom hem has an elastic so easy to blouse.

It has light stain at the back near a neck line but it is not so obvious against a cream colour fabric.

Hena Hena's creations are upcycled with vintage silk kimonos which are imported from Japan and they are carefully unpicked by myself. I mainly use kimonos from 1950s and before. Because of their age of fabrics there could be some flaws like small marks, pinholes and colour fade etc. but they have incredibly graceful taste that only vintage kimonos have. I hope you enjoy and love the beauty of vintage kimono silks including their histories to be embraced.
