Great for spring and warmer days. It goes with jeans well for everyday use or looks great with a skirt for a classy look.

Made from a tasteful Meisen kimomo with a lovely plants pattern. The main characteristic of Meisen is its pattern, made by pre-dyed threads. As the fabric is woven the surface decoration appears as a shimmering, soft-edged pattern.

Hena Hena's creations are upcycled with vintage silk kimonos which are imported from Japan and they are carefully unpicked by myself. I mainly use kimonos from 1950s and before. Because of their age of fabrics there could be some flaws like small marks, pinholes and color fade etc. but they have incredibly graceful taste that only vintage kimonos have. I hope you enjoy and love the beauty of vintage kimono silks including their histories to be embraced.
